Successful Sales & Marketing Officers will play pivotal roles in driving revenue growth through direct sales efforts and effective marketing strategies. This position requires a dynamic individual with strong understanding of sales, marketing, and customer relationship management. The Officers will be responsible for generating leads, meeting sales targets, and promoting the company’s products or services in the designated geographical area. The remuneration and rewards attached to this post is commensurate with the responsibilities and performances at both at the corporate and individual level.

Responsibilities

Successful candidates will have responsibilities for:

  • Sales and Lead Generation: Conducting direct sales activities to generate leads and acquire new customers. Identifying potential clients and proactively reaching out to them to understand their needs.
  • Market Research: Conducting market research to identify opportunities for product or service expansion. Analyzing competitor activities and market trends to inform sales and marketing strategies.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential clients. Addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Sales Targets: Setting and achieving ambitious sales targets within the assigned territory. Developing and implementing strategies to meet or exceed sales objectives.
  • Field Marketing: Executing field marketing activities to promote brand awareness. Organizing and participating in events, exhibitions, and promotional activities.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the company’s products or services. Providing product demonstrations and presentations to potential customers.
  • Sales Reporting: Compiling and submitting regular sales reports, including activity, leads, and sales closures. Analyzing sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Documentation: Maintaining accurate and organized records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market feedback.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in field sales and marketing roles.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Goal-oriented with demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the designated territory
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
Experience : Minimum of one year experience in similar role
