COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT POLICY

Sellfast.ng, together with its managing company, Instinct Concepts & Consulting Limited is committed to respecting the intellectual property rights of others. This Copyright Infringement Policy outlines the procedures to be followed in the event that copyrighted material is believed to have been improperly posted on our classified ads website, www.sellfast.ng.

Reporting Copyright Infringements:

If you are a copyright owner or an agent thereof and believe that any content on sellfast.ng infringes upon your copyrights, you may submit by providing our designated Copyright Agent with the following information in writing:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works.
  • Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit Sellfast.ng to locate the material.
  • Information reasonably sufficient to permit Sellfast.ng to contact you, such as an address, telephone number, and, if available, an email address.
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

Submitting a Copyright Infringement Notice:

Copyright infringement notices should be sent to our designated Copyright Agent at the following email address contact@sellfast.ng

Action upon Receipt of a Valid Notice:

Upon receipt of a valid and complete copyright infringement notice, Sellfast.ng will:

  • Promptly remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content.
  • Notify the alleged infringer of the removal or disabling of access to the content.
  • Provide the alleged infringer with information about how to submit a counter-notice.

Counter-Notice:

If the alleged infringer believes that the material that was removed or to which access was disabled is not infringing, or that the alleged copyright owner does not have the right to infringe the material, the alleged infringer may submit a counter-notice.

The counter-notice must include:

  • Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that the alleged infringer has a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  • The alleged infringer’s name, address, and telephone number.
  • A statement that the alleged infringer consents to the jurisdiction of any judicial district in which Sellfast.ng may be found.

Repeat Infringers:

In accordance with our policies, Sellfast.ng may terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers.

Updates to the Copyright Infringement Policy

Sellfast.ng may update this Copyright Infringement Policy from time to time. Users are encouraged to review this policy periodically for any changes.
